Cranberry Pecan Scones

Homemade Scones are so easy to make, if you can make biscuits then you're already a pro at scones! But don't worry, I won't tell your guests how easy it is....

  • 2 C. Flour
  • 1/3 C. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • ½ C. Butter or one stick
  • 2/3 C. Buttermilk
  • 3/4 C. Fresh Cranberries
  • 1/2 C. Chopped Pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees combine the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Then cut the butter into the flour mixture just as you would with biscuits.
  3. Add the cranberries and pecans to that mixture.
  4. Stir in the buttermilk and gently mix everything until it's combined. Gently pat into a circle on a greased baking sheet and cut into wedges.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 min. or until it's baked through the middle.
