Common Questions When Making Energy Balls
1. Why are my energy balls not sticking together?
If your energy balls are too crumbly, chances are you need a bit more moisture. Try adding an extra spoonful of nut butter or a drizzle of honey to help bind everything together. If they’re still too dry, a splash of water or milk can do the trick.
2. How long do energy balls last?
They’ll keep in the fridge for about a week, but you can also freeze them for up to three months. I love making a big batch and storing them in the freezer for a quick, healthy snack whenever I need one.
3. Are energy balls actually healthy?
Definitely! They’re packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats, making them a great alternative to processed snacks. Just watch your add-ins, things like chocolate chips and sweetened dried fruit can add extra sugar if you’re trying to keep them on the healthier side.
