Outdoor Living Slow Living

Camping, Glamping, and Outdoor Living

Our family camped for six months., while building our home. We enjoyed many days of eating outside around the campfire, nights of star gazing and of course sticky marshmallow fingers. Adventures Everyday

New year, new home, and a new baby!

. Big changes people, that’s why it has been so quite around here, Daniel and I have been contemplating for over a year if we should move. We built our home debt free, but we still had a big land payment left on it. We want to buy our next place outright, and it will give us the room to farm and do the things we want to do. We moved to our beautiful land five years ago now, and it has been one of the most life-changing experiences we’ve ever had. Stretching us, we have grown. We have learned ... continue reading...

Homesteading Slow Living

Our Story… Starting from Scratch

Starting a Homestead from Scratch is no easy thing, but with a dream and a willing heart, we managed as a family of seven to live off-grid and homestead. Here's our story, we hope it inspires you to pursue your dreams. Starting a Homestead from Scratch Our story... Starting from Scratch. It was perfect… the soil was moist and loamy; the large pines stood like gates into an ancient city. Our family used the small and narrow rabbit trails as our routes of travel in exploring our newly ... continue reading...
